TV actress Tunisha Sharma's co-star Shizan Khan has been arrested in connection with her death.
Actress Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the set during a shoot on Saturday. According to reports, his body was found hanging in the washroom.
The police have registered a case against co-star Sheezan Khan for abetting suicide. Shizan has been booked under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He will be produced in court on Monday.
Mumbai Police's ACP Chandrakant Jadhav has said in the case of TV actress Tunisha Sharma's death that she was in a relationship with Shizan Khan and "they broke up 15 days ago."
They said that 'Tonesha had also told her mother that they had broken up, the boy did not talk to her and did not want to have any more relationship with her'.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Chandrakant said that Tonesha's mother has lodged a complaint and the police is probing the matter.
ACP Chandrakant Jadhav says that the post-mortem report has made it clear that the actress died due to strangulation and hanging.
So far, the police are investigating the case from both angles of suicide and murder. Chandrakant Jadhav said that investigation of the case is going on and Shizan Khan has been remanded for four days.
Shizan Khan was acting opposite Tonesha Sharma in the TV show 'Alibaba Dastan-e-Kabul'. Tunisha was playing the role of Princess Maryam in it.

According to news agency ANI, his body was brought to the JJ Hospital in Negaon at around 1.30 pm on Sunday and the post-mortem was conducted till 4.30 am in the presence of many policemen.
